Gustavo works as a Linux Kernel Engineer, fixing potential security issues throughout the Linux kernel. His work is supported by The Linux Foundation’s Core Infrastructure Initiative. He is currently involved in the Kernel Self Protection Project.

He is also a volunteer and member of the board of directors at Kids on Computers. A non-profit organization, which main mission is to provide free computers and open source software to underprivileged kids around the world.

Gustavo has a professional background in Embedded Systems with an expertise in Secure Coding Practices.
