Nat Sakimura is the Chairman of the board of the OpenID Foundation (OIDF) and a research fellow at Nomura Research Institute specializing in digital identity and privacy. He is a co-author of many of the frequently used international standards such as OpenID Connect, JWT, JWS, OAuth PKCE, etc. Some of the newer works include the OIDF Financial API - Security Profile, which is used as the baseline for the UK Open Banking to protect member banks APIs.
